I'm pregnant!!!!

So for most of you this is old news, but it has been brought to my attention that I haven't mentioned anything about this pregnancy of my blog, so not everyone knew about it. So here are a few pictures of me. I'm almost 37 weeks in these pictures.
I'm having this baby in less than 2 weeks by c-section. We decided to be surprised with this one so we don't know what it is. I have a pink afghan finished and I'm working on a boy's quilt, but other than that, we have everything we need for either a boy or a girl.

Catherine's self portrait

She's so excited. She's been waiting all year to lose her first tooth. At school they had a chart that they kept track of how many teeth were lost each month and she really hoped to be on that chart. Her tooth became wiggly the last week of school, so she just missed it. She wouldn't let us pull it. She was determined it was going to fall out on it's own. A couple weeks ago I finally got around to making her a tooth fairy pillow, which she helped sew and yesterday was the day. And from the tooth fairy, she got an exciting $2 bill.

Cement trucks

We got new cement poured yesterday and today and Jonah has been so entertained. I can't leave Catherine out though. She's been right there next to him the whole time. I'll post pictures of how it looks later, when they're actually done. This was the kids view this morning out my bedroom window. I just kept hearing "aaaah" and "wow" from Jonah with an occasionally "uck" in there.
It is probably the most expensive entertained we've ever paid for, not that we had it done for the kids entertainment. Our yard is coming together and we're so excited. I can't wait until it's done (though is a yard ever really done). I'm told the playground is the next big project. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Hiking

We went for a drive up American Fork canyon and took a couple hikes. The kids can't stay away from streams and water, of course. At least here it is a lot more mild than farther down the river.
Jonah was so excited to be out hiking around. He loves to be outdoors and go walking places. Dan should definately have his scouter to do things with.
Hiking up the trail to the Timp cave. We only walked part way up. It's such a beautiful area. The girls really, really wanted to continue all the way up to the cave, but it was 1.5 miles and the tickets were already sold out and we weren't planning on it from the start, so we didn't. We walked a little ways though and the girls keep bugging us to go back and go all the way up.

Catherine's Kindergarten Program

Catherine's kindergarten had a very cute program for the end of the year. They had each kid read parts of nursery rhyme stories and they sang some very cute songs. The cutest soon was a song about going to 1st grade to the tune of "New York, New York."
Catherine loved kindergarten and her teacher. She is very excited about going to 1st grade for the same reason she wanted to go to kindergarten. She wants to make "more" friends. She is our social butterfly afterall. She did very well this year. She's already reading 1st grade level and she's ahead in math. She could do simple addition before she even started kindergarten. I just can't believe she's going to first grade next year.

Cars

Dan, or at least I should say Catherine, found Dan's old hot wheels car track and Jonah was in heaven. He immediately claimed them for his own and would get mad at Dan when he'd take them away or even want to play with them.
Jonah will play for hours with cars and he has finally started staying "ars" and "ucks". Dan took all but three pieces of track away, unless he's there to supervise and Jonah will tuck one end into the couch and race the cars down the track. The girls love to play with it also and sometimes Jonah will share it, but not if you take the cars he's playing with. You have to find your own.
