My friend down the street took these pictures of the kids and she did a good job. I still need to let her know when of Jonah's and Catherine's to crop, but I wanted to post these anyway. The month is the month they were taken. The kids are growing up so fast. I know every parent says that, but it's so true.

Easter morning

Here's the kids waiting to hunt eggs. Jonah did a great job, but got distracted easily. He kept wanting to just open the eggs and eat the candy. I was really impressed with the girls. Even though they got a lot of eggs, they still would help their brother find some too.

Easter updates

Jonah discovered the car at Grandma & Grandpa and only wanted to play in that. He has recently discovered a love of cars.

We went to Grandma & Grandpa's for an Easter Egg hunt with the cousins. I can't seem to find the picture of Jonah dumping out his eggs after he found some.

The buckets on the heads was a big hit.

Fashion sense

A couple of weeks ago I went shopping for an Easter outfit for Jonah and he was with me. This was the first little outfit we saw (and it was only $20 for the whole thing, shirt, tie, pants, and coat) and I took it off the rack and showed it to Jonah. His eyes got wide and he yanked it out of my hands and threw it in the cart. Ok. So a little later we came up to the cute little three-piece suits and it took one a couple of the rack to look at. Jonah vehemently shook his head no saying, "uh,uh" with each one. All I can say is this boy knows what he wants and he has good taste for a kid not even two. When we put it on for pictures today he wouldn't let us take it off (until we bribed him). He loved walking around it in. Dan says he'll be a lady killer. What are we in for?

Easter Dresses

Here are the girls new Easter dresses. Unfortunately we didn't make it to church today though. Catherine came down with an ear infection last night, and so on. But I did make them dress up in them so I could take pictures. Though Catherine's complaining it itches (which she's extremely sensitve about), she still loved it and they enjoyed dancing around for a little while in them. Barring some illness or something, we'll be at church next week though to show them off.

Daddy's boy

So Jonah has become quite the daddy's boy. I don't know if it's because Dan has been working so much lately or what, but when daddy's home, that is who Jonah wants (which is quite nice for me). The other day, Dan had come home from work and was only home about an hour before he had to get ready for scouts. When Dan put him jacket on, Jonah immediately stood up, starting shaking his head no and saying, "uh,uh" then he ran to his Dan and tried to get him to take him jacket off. Since Dan had a few minutes before he had to leave, he picked up Jonah who proceeded to unzip Dan's jacket and take it off him. Jonah did not want his dad to leave and was very adament about it. It was very cute.

Storage Bags comsumer report

So I've been trying to declutter and organize. I'd love to be in the position to get rid of kids clothes, but I'm not. So I gotten some of the space saver bags for free over the summer (go Walgreens) and thought I'd try some more. These are my girls 12 month to 2 yrs. No that does not mean I'm having a boy. It just means Jonah's still wearing that age and I had more girl clothes to put away. There is actually one more bag of clothes, so picture it up to the top of the Luv's boxes. No bad. The two big bags fit back in the grey tote and the little bags went up on the shelf. They do save some space, but the drawback is, the bags rip fairly easily. When I tried to close two of the bags with the zipper, they ripped. And since they cost about $5 each for the large bags and $10 for the x-large bags, if they rip before you even really get a chance to use it, then that sucks. I did buy some of the bags I used. For once, Walmart had a better selection, but I'd have to recheck the price comparison. I think it was about the same as Walgreens. I think I'm going to buy one more to put the clothes in that are sitting in the ripped bag. If you don't fill it as high, then it shouldn't rip. Was it worth it? Still deciding. They definately help with space, but I'm not sure long term.
